Their HD is subpar, and they don't have NFL Network. Been looking forward to Bears/Packers all day (I'm a Bears fan), and assumed they had NFLN like everyone else.
Suck it Time Warner.

I'll send you a referral link for DirecTv. Free NFL ticket this year and $10 off a month for 10 months for both of us. For the first two years my bill will be around $52 ($42 for 10 months as it stands now).

I just replaced DTV with TW. I actually like DTV, but then I either have to pay full price for RR, or get shitty DSL. And neither is worth it.

I agree 100%. Get AT&T U-Verse and you'll never need another cable company.

I have Comcast and the only issue I've had was my DVR didn't work for a while. They're actually a little better than I expected. I want Time Warner back simply because they're going to carry the Laker's network

Insight was bought by time Warner and now sucks. Time Warner let the NFL network expire on august 1 2012 saying it was to expensive to the customers. Now that it has expired because it was to expensive how come I didn't get money off my cable bill. The worst part is I'm willing to pay to get the channel in a sports package and it's not even offered that way.

Time Warner, DTV or Dish Network. Those are my options.Steel Valley Football;1270273 wrote:How about Insight or Wow? I had Insight and liked it until I tried AT&T.

Can you get U-verse internet? Where my parents are, they can get the internet, but not the TV or phone. They have Dish Network for TV and U-verse for internet, and then the cheapest plan there is with Vonage since Dad insists on there being a land line still.WebFire;1270269 wrote:Not offered where I live.
They dumped TWC in 2005 because of the rates, going with Dish (TV) and ATT (phone/internet) at the time to save a couple hundred a year (it was like 500 the first year with promos and still a couple hundered per year thereafter)... they just redid it this summer to go from ATT to Vonage for phone (and change internet from old school ATT DSL to U-verse) to save even more than before.

Our DTV had Sprout, but definitely double check. Of course TW does not.

Firstly, GO PACK GO!
Secondly, screw cable. Watch everything on Hulu+, Netflix, or free live streaming. All you have to do is get a cable to hook a computer up to your tv and you got it all. Simple and easy.

You sure about that? I have had TimeWarner over a year, premium package I believe, and have never had NFL network.sportchampps;1270283 wrote:Insight was bought by time Warner and now sucks. Not a fan of them. Always having problems with the HD channels in the main room. Also used to get HD locals in my bedroom at the old house, and now do not get them at the new place.

They must not have had it very long. I pulled out my original channel guide from 2010 and there is no NFL network....I have, NBA, MLB, Tennis, NHL, Big Ten.sportchampps;1270283 wrote:Insight was bought by time Warner and now sucks. Ha, and they wouldnt take money off, but probably charge you more for making them do work or because your offer expired will and increase to the original price haha.
