Even after one bite. Hiccups start. Every single time without fail. Any one else experience this phenomenon?

Usually Yahoo answers are helpful, especially when asking "why won't my parakeet eat my diarrhea?" but ask a simple question "why carrots make me hiccup" you get some really stupid replies.

FWIW

Placing your pinky fingers tightly into your ears for 30 seconds and the hiccups go away every time.

Not sure exactly why.
