Anyone still watch The Office? We use to have weekly threads before it really dropped off. I think I stopped watching last season. Glad they're putting it out of it's misery soon.

I still watch. Although, this year marked the first season premier of The Office that I have watched since probably 2009 (the parkour episode; I specifically remember this because that was my favorite cold opening during the entire run of the series). Despite not regularly watching the show's new episodes in the fall since Season 4 or so, I have continued to purchase the DVD sets each year in order to keep my collection complete, and I do enjoy most of them.

Unlike some, I have actually appreciated many of the new characters that have been introduced to the show over the seasons, such as Erin and Gabe and the guest appearances by Will Ferrell, James Spader, etc. They each bring their own quirky traits and unique brands of humor and I guess I just enjoy the variety. The awkwardness of characters like Erin and Gabe are spot on and brilliantly done. Since Michael's departure the show has certainly lost some of its former glory, but the transition has also meant more on-screen time for lesser used, but extremely effective, characters like Creed and Stanley. To me, it is the complementary cast members on The Office that have always made me laugh the most.

Yeah I will watch the last season of the office...I don't dislike any of the newer (or just any of them in general) characters, but the episodes just don't "flow" like they did with MS. Individually they are all good, but they just don't entertain collectively.

Cannot wait for Dexter tonight..one of the better shows on TV, imo.

American Horror story
Walking dead

Watching Survivorman which just came out. I have 666 park ave. Set to record for tonight I am really curious about that series.

Oh yeah almost forgot. Spartacus the final season starts in Jan, 2013 Spartacus might be the best show on TV in a close battle with Walking Dead

Homeland has been AWESOME this season, really digging it. Boardwalk Empire started off slow but has gotten better the past two weeks.

My guilty pleasure is 666 Park Avenue ... totally cheesy, but I dig it, I have to admit.

Watched the pilot of Nashville on Hulu, it has a pretty good storyline set-up.

Was the ambush all there was to it, or was Mickey Doyle in on it? I couldn't tell if Eli saw him at the gas station or not (not saying he was there, just thinking there was more to it).

Nucky is becoming a true mob boss, but I want more of Al Capone. Rosetti is a certifiable pyschopath.

I didn't notice Mickey at the gas station. I think I was just Gyp's boys and the cops.

Yeah, Mickey was not there. He stayed back on that trip.

I loved the last two episodes. I was shocked at the end with Nucky. Thought for sure the kidwas going to join the team, like Jimmy.
But, then remembered the season's slogan, "You can't be half Gangster."

Rosetti is easily one of my favorite characters. Reminds me a little of some of the characters from the Godfather.

Yeah, Rosetti is pretty solid

I'm starting to get annoyed with Nucky's wife, the storyline with her and the hospital is a waste of time

Ehh, I kind of agree. But she's an important foil to Nucky's character - at least how his character began. Interesting that in Season 1-2 she kind of showed the human/caring side of Nucky. But as he's transforming he's also shutting her out and she's becoming more of an annoyance (as opposed to a good part of his life).

I thought Nucky was going to sign him up, as well. And on a different day he might have. I think he popped him for the sole purpose of sending a message to Owen.

The guy Nucky needs to sign-up is the Phantom. As far as I can recall, he's the only character in the entire series who has been loyal without fault.

I am looking forward to the latest season of Workaholics, which I think won't start until spring 2013. It's written off by many as just another "typical slacker comedy," but it's really a pretty hilarious show and you won't find another cast out there that delivers their particular brand of humor any more effectively. There are certainly better comedies out there, to be sure -- Workaholics isn't even in my top five or six -- but as far as minimalist shows go, it's really well done. I'd classify it as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on welfare.

This week's Boardwalk episode was one of the best hour of television I've ever personally seen. Holy shit, Al Capone's parts alone were unbelievable. "Picking on somebody who can't defend themselves? Here, pay for his funeral."

I loved when the fat guy was telling him he got his ass kicked at a bar, and Capone was just like okay...then he said the man made fun of him, Capone was already on his way to find him.

I like the direction they're taking Nucky's wife...as long as they keep her away from Nucky I'm happy. I dread the scenes they're in together.

I haven't watched 2 1/2 Men in about a year but watched it tonight and it was hilarious. Had Miley Cyrus as a house guest and she was very funny.

I quit watching 2 1/2 Men and HIMYM years ago, because every week seemed like you were watching a re-run of the previous weeks episode.

I still watch. It's occasionally pretty funny. Not as consistent as with Sheen, but it's still decent.
