The Reds, having lost 3 of the last 4, and 5 of the 8 this month, seem like they are trying more for the #3 seed(4.5 games ahead) than the #1 seed(2.5 games behind). I guess they are trying to make management happy by gauranteeing 2 home gates even if they get swept 3-0 in the first series.

Frazier needs a good rest, like we all thought he would when Votto came back. He did yeoman's work during that period to help get the Reds to their current comfort level, but when it was time to rest, Rolen and Cozart came up with physical issues. Frazier was pathetic yesterday when he had an improtant run on third with one out when they were trying to get back in the game.

This lineup with Cozart and hanny replacing Navarro and Valdez, would be pretty damn good.

It's coast time into the playoffs. Unfortunately, they forgot about home field advantage. Of course, they will get home field against the WC (and play the first 2 on the road). Win that series, that's when it matters, and if it's Washington or even Atlanta, the way things are going, the Reds may be on the road.

Not liking the approach tonight against Wandy. They finally solved him this year and tonight it looks like much of the same from year's past.

Do you think they relaxed, or reverted to being more free swinging than when Votto was out, when they knew they needed more conscientious ABs(except for Bruce at the beginning when he felt the most pressure to pickup the slack, and Stubbs, who just doesn't get it).

They said they wouldn't intentionally walk Joey! They did with 3 straight breaking balls in the dirt, hoping for a wild pitch so it wouldn't look so bad walking him with a base open at first.

Reds waited too long! I lost my Suddenlink feed of FSO at midnight to the jewelry channel, and the radio never had it on due to the Bengals game!

Bases loaded no out fly to CF by Holt must not have been deep enough to try for the lead run.

Reds get their lead-off batter on in their 4th of 6 walk-of win possibility innings! Will the 4th time be the charm?
