I don't believe that is true. If you have some case law to back it up, I'd like to read it.

I know that a golfer is not liable for personal injuries caused by a struck golf ball on a golf course as long as it wasn't done intentionally or with reckless disregard. In other words, if you shank one onto another fairway and hit another golfer, you will not be liable for his injuries. However, lets say someone in front of you is playing slow and you hit one into them, causing an injury, you would be liable.
My example was accidental.
Your example is on purpose.

Two different intents.

Your example dealt with property damage, not personal injury. It is still my belief that you are liable for any property damage caused by an errant golf shot, whether accidental or intentional.

If it occurs, turn it into your liability (homeowner) insurance carrier.

They will gladly deny the claim (deny liability not deny coverage) and cite case law to the claimant for you.

Ok. So, you don't have a link or a citation to the "Ohio Law" that you mentioned in an earlier post? I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just trying to figure out where you got that information from.

Patton v. Westwood Country Club Co., 247 N.E.761 (Ohio App. 1969)

This might be it, did a quick search. Did not read all the briefs.

This deals with the liability of the golf club or course itself, not the individual golfer. Unless i missed something, which is entirely possible.

Edit: ok try this, look at the figure behind his right shoulder. is that a head turned sideways looking toward us? looks like an ear on top and and ear on the bottom. what that would mean, i dont know though.
