I love games at Wrigley but the late start killed this one.

That's quite ironic wording.

No Reds player has more plate appearances in the past 15 games....Cairo, Valdez and Paul all have more than Heisey. Heisey has scored 20 runs in his last 24 starts hitting .311

So I'll be there next Saturday. And trying to decide between moon deck or left field seats. I've sat in both before, but not for a night game. Unfortunately the girl that's coming with me is a Cubbies fan.

I like moon deck best because you can see the scoreboard. Probably my favorite seats in the place.

Moon deck and you can watch scoreboard and there is at least 1 less inning of brutal sun....especially in 140-142

The iodiocy of the first two Reds batters in the 9th really gets to me. Do they not know how to approach Marmol? -- You take until you have two strikes! Paul takes till 3-0, then he throws a strike, but then he swings at ball four on the 3-1, but lucks out with an infield single in the hole to SS. Then Valdez swings at the first pitch and hits into a game killing DP. And the 3rd batter, Cozart gets a 4 pitch walk, but the umps had had enough of a long night and he gets called out so everyone can go home.
On the Valdez swing, my normal rule of thumb to swing at the the first pitch is you need to get a hit on 40% of the swings, but in that situation with that pitcher, it needs to be 80% of first pitch swings! Ridiculous!
