He owns the record for most tournament games played (23) out of a maximum possible of 24 in four years at that time.

When he made his shot against Kentucky, four of us were sitting in a drive thru in a car, watching it on some small BnW tv they had hanging on the wall. Those stats aren't anything special. So he played a lot of games on good teams and chucked a bunch. Cut my arm off and put me on Duke's team in the 90's and I bet I could put up those same stats.said_aouita;1245007 wrote:Some Laettner stats-

I'm right handed. Not like you needed a left hand during 90s basketball; 90% of the teams were just a bunch of white guys in short shorts running around throwing a ball in a hoop. He is one of the best college players ever. His NBA career was average at best. He will get some credit/recognition for being on The Dream Team, but that was a token selection anyway.

Sleeper. Shaq did play in college. Laettner was a horrible matchup for him. So there goes that argument.
