He should take that chew and shove it up his ass--his last six games have been pathetic

Like it mattered at that point? The indians scored more runs on friday than they had all month.

And i read Acta is going to look at other options for a starter in place of tomlin.....

^^^^yeah it didn't matter because the team didn't score any runs anyway...but Acta has made a bad habit of keeping his starter in to get pounded for 8 + runs and taking his team out of the game early (Ubaldo 8 runs, Lowe 9 runs, and now Tomlin 8 runs). From a psychological standpoint, it takes alot out of you when you look at the score and see 8-0 at the end of 4....especially when your team has trouble scoring runs. If you see that a guy doesn't have it...get him out.

Last nite was particularly irritating on so many levels...one of which was Willingham's 3 run bomb. Can you imagine where the Tribe would be if the Tribe would have gone the extra year to get him last winter? This has always been the downfall of the Shapiro/Antonetti regime....just not going the extra mile to get a player. In fact that has been a hallmark of their attempts to sign players, and we watched that over and over this winter...until only Casey Kotchman was left. I said this earlier in the thread....the front office has known what this team needed since last fall, and has done NOTHING to address it. There certainly were opportunities, but they were unable/unwilling to take even the slightest financial risk to make this a better team. I'm not sure whether the blame falls on them or the owner or both.....but it should be as plain as the name on the jerseys what needs to be done.

In other news...Zach Greinke was traded to the Angels...Chi Sox came up empty.

Angels gave up way too much to get him. I'm glad the White Sox didn't pull the trigger if it took 3 top 10 prospects to get him.

He should be looking (in Columbus) at other options to improve his offense. You simply cannot sustain many rallys when 5 of your 9 hitters are not even averaging 1 hit per game.

What if................

Masterson evened up his record at 8-8, while lowering his ERA tonight?

I swear Grady used steroids. He was an everyday player and had a streak of over 100 games consecutive played... Then the crackdown came and he's been a glassman ever since...

Same with Hafner.
