Coleman and Dlanev will be in the Bronze medal match. Herbert's QTF opponent made the finals so he needs to win his next match and then he will be wrestling for Bronze too. It's not Gold, but it would be huge for the US wrestling team to get 3 more medals today.Fab1b;1244618 wrote:US Wrestler Coleman Scott loses semifinal

Shocker in men's soccer. Mexico is up 2-0 on Brazil, in the 77th minute.

U.S. women take the 1st set in Gold medal match in volleyball against Brazil.
Then, Brazil dominates and wins the next two sets and win the match.
U.S. gets silver.
On the track Brit Mo Farah wins the 5k, pulling off the double, as he won the 10k as well. No American metaled in the 5k.

U.S. Women's 4x400 dominate and win the race by 20+ meters
Women's track team has just been awesome. Felix picks up her third gold medal.
And adding to that American Brigett Barrent, picks up silver in the high jump.
Men's 4x100 in about 20 minutes.

Holy shit, 36.84, new WR Gold for Jamaica.
U.S. had the lead and was dead even when Bolt got the baton, and he just cruised, taking the lead in the final 50. He actually had to work for a full 100.
U.S. get the silver and a new American record.
Bolt has proven he is the best sprinter.

Yeah, the announcers are breaking it down. Granted, 3 legs have flying starts, but it averages to about 9.2 seconds per 100m. Insane.Midstate01;1244823 wrote:36.84??? Good god.
The U.S. ran their best time ever, and it still wasn't good enough.

Yeah....obviously.
I just don't understand. If the Reds were playing at 7:05 and NBC was going to air it at 9:00 or whatever.....I can see running it across the bottom to spoil it and keep their viewers from changing the channel....but at 4:05 and the game being long over makes me feel like like_that was in control of the bottom line of FSO.
It is truly unbelievable how hard it is nowadays to wait on any athletic event....like some grandma having a torretic fit in Krogers and screaming the score of something I had DVR'd.

Believe me, if I wanted to ruin it for you I would have just pmed you the results lol. I was actually thinking about pming you a fake result saying Bolt pulled his hamstring in the 200m just for the lulz, but decided against it.Ironman92;1244964 wrote:Yeah....obviously.

It is nearly impossible, thus why I don't even try. Rather know the results as they happen.
