Dick Ebersol, who was hired on as an adviser for this year's Olympics, says all of you complaining about tape delays and shit are in a minority that makes up at the very most 15% of the popular opinion, and can go fuck yourself.

Day started off bad for U.S., as most of the team sports ended badly, and the U.S. Boxing team struggled.
But, I knew once track and field kicked in, the U.S. would come through.
And, nearly halfway through the Decathlon, Americans are 1 and 2, with both heavily favored to win medals.
China may well indeed win the total medal count, but I'd say the U.S. has more goals in the sports that matter. Quality over quantity.

I'm just posting this here because it involves the Olympics and it made me lmao. Taken from another forum.:laugh::laugh:
Canada's Shame: Abysmal Olympic Performance

1 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze.
Canada, you have embarrassed yourselves yet again. You're on track to be outgunned by fucking ETHIOPIA who manage to perform without the aid of FOOD. But more importantly you have embarrassed your owner. Your shameful Olympic performance only serves to highlight the lack of pride you feel in your so-called "country."
Here you are, allegedly a first world nation next to the United States of America, the best country in the world......and THIS is how you honor us? We fold you into safety and prosperity of our warm embrace, we tolerate your insolence.....and you can't even TRY for your continent?
Fold your Olympic program, let your estimated two decent athletes defect.
We'll take it from here....AS ALWAYS.
You ungrateful twats.

Honestly I agree with him (without reading the article, just your comments). I don't what people really expect. Most people can't watch during the day.ts1227;1242882 wrote:Dick Ebersol, who was hired on as an adviser for this year's Olympics, says all of you complaining about tape delays and shit are in a minority that makes up at the very most 15% of the popular opinion, and can go fuck yourself.

Dick Ebersol has also run NBC Sports into the ground. They are by far the worst of the 4 networks. The Olympics literally saves them from going under lol. I wouldnt put much stock into that mans opinion.WebFire;1243041 wrote:Honestly I agree with him (without reading the article, just your comments). I don't what people really expect. But for the record. What would be so difficult about showing stuff live and on tape delay? Not to mention, the 100M Final was on SUNDAY at 5:00pm. That is definitely more primetime than 10:30 or whenever it ended up airing lol.

The very same Dick Ebersol who partnered with Vince McMahon to bring the wonderful XFL to us for the one season that shit lasted? My understanding is that the ratings numbers are very good.

NBCSN has gotten great reviews, for the most part, with how they've managed the MLS coverage. They've dominated the FSC ratings.
I don't think they do bad, the limited times I've watched for MLS games.

yes, they are. They would still be good, without pissing some people off, by showing stuff live. If you cant watch you cant watch and will watch at night.queencitybuckeye;1243236 wrote:My understanding is that the ratings numbers are very good.

Hope Solo makes a few GREAT saves in a span of 2 minutes. Defense needs to tighten up a bit. Japan's offense looks like it is clicking, just not finishing.
