The O's had 6 doubles and 2 HR's before they had a single. Derek Lowe wasn't fooling anyone.

Could be a good trade for both sides. But, as a tribe fan, I would not do it. Not enough history there for me to think Craig will be good long term. I think Peastano barring injury will be a perrenial all star.stlouiedipalma;1230319 wrote:I've got a good trade for you. Tribe deals Vinny Pestano to Cardinals straight up for Allen Craig. Tribe gets a good RH hitter and Cards get the set-up man they so desperately need.

Pestano will more than likely be our closer in a few years cause I doubt Chris Perez stays. Or isnt going to like the money Dolan is going to offer him.

Thank god I opted for the cash to go play slots at Mountaineer versus attending this shitfest with my coworkers last night.

Manny Acta provided more self damning evidence last night of his own negligence...
" When you see so many fly balls against a sinker ball pitcher, you know he's in trouble."
WTF?...and yet he left him out there to give up nine runs and take his team out of the game.

Lowe is what he is, and that is a middle to back end of the rotation guy. Almost all teams are going to have guys like him on their staff. He's an old, crafty veteran that relies on his sinker and his defense behind him. Usually he pitches well enough to keep the team in games. His previous outing he gave up 3 runs in 6 innings, but the offense scored ZERO. Last nite, they were on him early, often and loudly. Meanwhile, the offense continues to muddle along. The 5 thru 9 spots in the order last nite did not have a hitter batting over .241....two guys batting in the .220's....and a pair in the .230's. You get what you pay for. Josh Willigham or Johnny Damon.

Six innings of great work now. We could use a few more runs.
I wonder how many innings McAllister will be allowed to pitch.
