Definitely a good movie. As most have said, not as good as the Dark Knight, but what puts the Dark Knight ahead of most comic movies is the choice of villain, and that actor's performance portraying that character. The movie's plot was almost just as good. I was pretty entertained, although there were some "lolfail, ok that's a bit ridiculous" moments in the movie.

Also, I have never considered Anne Hathaway hot, but this movie definitely made me want to bend her over a barrell and show her the 50 states.

Tom Hardy was not at good as Heath Ledger, but Bane was awesome, imo.

Anne Hathaway gave a great performance and Bale gave his best of the 3 Batmans, imo. I thought this had the best plot of the 3, and was the most well acted (sans The Joker). Because of Heath Ledger I think TDK is slightly better than TDKR, but that was a really well done movie.

I did think the field falling in was HORRIBLE. Probably my least favorite moment of the series. It was so cheesy, and the football players running were just cheesy.

Totally agree on all points. Hardy wasn't as good but you also couldn't really see his face so hard to compare. Either way, it wouldn't have mattered because Heath Ledger nailed The Joker as well as anyone could play a villain.

Adding Hathaway and JGL really added to the movie and was a big reason the acting was better like you said. Both did really well in their roles.

Thought using different events from the first 2 in the series was great as well. Really brought them all together.

Also, I was just cringing when the football scene came up. Hated the idea and thought it was totally unnecessary. Glad it was as short as it was.

One more thing, and kinda spoiler so...

[SP]Anyone else think the movie should have ended about 5 seconds sooner?

With Alfred smiling and giving a head nod, but them not actually showing Bruce and Selina at the table?[/SP]

[SP]That would have been a sad ending, but would have worked. It would have been cool to actually just kill Bruce Wayne.
Also, I must say it was pretty damn obvious they were setting up Blake to be Robin.

Just got back from seeing it. Overall I thought it was great but not a good as The Dark Knight(which I didn't expect it to be).

Laley I agree with your spoiler post. I really thought that's what the were going to do. like_that yeah that was very obvious and I also agree with your Hathaway comment I never really found her to be all that attractive but she changed my opinion in the movie.

Love the end to the saga. Hope it doesn't go any further. Left me wanting more, instead of disappointed by what it became.

Loved it. Joker > Bane, but this movie had a much better story. Incredible ending and I loved the way everything came full circle.

With all that being said, how does Bale and the Nolans walk away? That would take a lot of restraint. They are printing money right now.

[SP]SPOILER
Like others have said, it was obvious that JGL would eventually become a hero as well. I didn't think he'd be Robin though. Kept thinking Batman would die and he would become the new Batman[/SP]

I think if this preview of the movie was indeed accurate, it would break every movie sales record in history (I highly recommend this):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdb2w1Yu97E&feature=youtu.be

[SP]This was supposedly the end of the Dark Knight saga, but with JGL obviously becoming Robin (I knew it would happen from the get-go) does this franchise continue in a new direction? I don't really see how they could reveal that and not capitalize on continuing the arch, especially with the $$$[/SP]

Just a thought.
