Reds get no hit but win 1-0 on 4 straight walks in the 9th.

Prolly should check the "walk" stats for the Reds.

It's not sold out. The lower level should be just about filled up. But there's still quite a few seats available in the upper sections.

The wife and I might be heading down there when she gets off work. But we wouldn't even be down there until after 5. May end up just going and drinking at the Holy Grail and watch the game there.

I'd have no problem going in late. It just depends on how fast the game is moving. Cheapest tix available right now are about $28. So I'm already in over $50 before I even get my two tall boy Yuenglings at the UDF ($10.50 each). It's just a lot of money to spend for only 5 or 6 innings.

[LEFT]Cozart SS, Stubbs CF, Votto 1B, Phillips 2B, Bruce RF, Ludwick LF, Rolen 3B, Mesoraco C, Leake P

vs. RH Kyle Lohse

I guess Dusty thinks Rolen won't be as susceptible to the Lohse change-up.

After a 7 pitch lead-off AB by Furcal that results in an infield single, Leake retires the next 3 hitters on 10 pitches to put up a zero in the first.

Votto in a slump! 0 for his last 10 counting the all-star game.

Two out error by Bruce causes Leake to walk the #8 hitter to get the P for the 3rd out, which means he won't be able to start the 3rd with the #9 hitter. Let's see if that comes back to haunt!

Not even in the MVP race anymore. He needs to step it back up.

Reds snake-bit by the lead-off double - they have a hard time scoring when the inning starts like this!

The Leake infield single would have scored a run had either Ludwick or Rolen made even a productive out after the Bruce lead-off double.

And sure enough Cozart makes an out to complete the inning with no score.

Janish has been traded to Atlanta. I guess Prado won't have to play SS anymore.

There it is, the Reds have a much better chance to score with a runner on first and 2 out than they do with a runner on 2nd and none out!

Leake thru 6 on 75 pitches and 5 base-runners. Need to add to the lead!

Good job by Meso to hit to right to put two on and no out for Leake who barely gets the sac to put the pressure on Cozart and Stubbs.

Two times this game Cozart has gone to RF, this time for a big SF. How about Stubbs lays down a bunt since the runner is on 3rd? If he beats it out it's a run, but no, a harmless fly to CF!

Leake uses up his insurance run before he even gets an out! The Molina HR keeps the GABP streak alive. Dusty should have learned by now, if Leake makes it to the 7th, there should be people thrrowing in the bull-pen before Leake throws the first pitch of the 7th!
