Manning was adamant that was foul. Im not so sure. I am leaning toward foul, but Jack hit that REALLY close to the line and pushed it a lot further foul. When it went over the bag...it mightve been fair.

But, point remains, Manny has to get tossed. Light a fire. I could manage this team, just hope you have a lead after 6. If not, its an L anyway so who gives a fuck what I do?

But then Lou Marson would be our catcher.

I don't know how Santana keeps getting worse, but he would need to continue that trend for at least 3-4 more seasons before Marson would be a better option. But seriously, 5 home runs and 16 total extra base hits this far into the season is unacceptable if you're going to bat in the .220s.

Just install a pitchback behind the plate. Having the pitcher throw a ball into it for his at-bats would be an improvement over Marson too.

Transfer the Indians to the AL east, and after tonight (pending an unexpected comeback) we'd be 8 games back and sitting in 6th place.

That's an umpire who deserves to be reprimanded if not fired. No excuse that a professional umpire should assume that a ball was caught. If you don't see a catch you can't call an out. Moreover, a fan is standing there holding up the ball! Booooooo.
