Fuck yeah Asdrubal. Cant prove it. But I left my car as after Choo got a hit, walked in to my apt and Asdrubal has a 3-1 count. Said to myself, "Asdrubal bomb would be nice." Next pitch...BOOOOOM!!!!!

Knew it was going to happen. You can't just throw fastballs to major league hitters, especially when you're topping out at 96.

Yeah, whats happened? Has he abandoned his other stuff since he was inserted into the C role? No breaking or offspeed at all today. Couple that with 3-1 to Choo and 3-1 to Asdrubal. 2 pretty fucking good hitters. Tough to get them out on 3-1 fastballs.

The last few weeks it seems like he's completely abandoned anything except fastballs. I know that's his money pitch, but at least 1/3 of his pitches should be something offspeed. Lot harder to time up a 96-97 fastball when you could see an 86 MPH slider.

I knew he was throwing hard, but I just didnt think he connected that well. I'm glad I was wrong though.

Yep, that's exactly what has happened. He was making great hitters look ridiculous early in the season when he would drop that 90mph slider on them, then suddenly after being named the closer, he abandoned it almost completely. He used it his last outing a bit and breezed through the inning.

Did Asdrubal call his shot? Sort of.

During batting practice has was specifically working on hitting the ball out to the opposite field. He felt he might need such an at-bat last night according to Acta.

He is the Indians' best hitter
