My thing with Warner is, he had 3 good years to start. And then 3 good years to end. He's definitely a bubble guy and his super bowl win and other appearance is really going to help him.
With that win doesnt he have two other appearances with I the most passing yards in SB history?

And voters are human..he has a good story and that will help

I thought he only had two total? 1 with St. Louis and 1 with Arizona?

I absolutely agree with you that he has a good story and that will help.
The voters being human I think is part of the reason that winning a Super Bowl is very important to being a HOFer.

I do think Warner is a HOFer. I just don't know if I'd think the same thing without his SB.

Three SB's. A win vs the Titans, and losses to the steelers and pats I think

Yeah Warner has the top 3 passing yards in superbowls. I think he will get into the HoF but don't think he would be there without a superbowl. I think what hurts him is he didn't play that long in the NFL.

As for me I think the next SB winner won't be from that list. I feel like it will be one of these guys: Romo, Rivers, Ryan, Flacco, Schaub.

but then again........look at Cris Carter.
Exactly, if Cris Carter is waiting this long to get in, Whines should be waiting double the amount. He was never the best WR any year he played, and he surely was never the best WR amongst the WRs he played against throughout his career. On top of that, you have to think about all the other players he played with/against (any position). One would assume these players would get in well before Hines.

He was very good.....but not the "hall of very good". I think you should dominate your position for a long time and even though he was good all around, I never considered him elite

Forgot about Schaub. Texans should be very good next year.

Agreed. Thavoice is a steelers fan I believe, so he's biased as shit.
