Good article here. Funny how Latos was keenly aware of Lowe 'drilling' Votto 3 years ago.????? Three years ago...long time to harbor a grudge, Dusty. One thing for sure...all the new ruckus started when Baker decided to purposely "buzz" Lowe...something he freely admitted.
I wonder what Baker thought would happen(experienced MLB manager that he is)...and for that ...Brandon Phillips took a hard one on the forearm in the bottom of the inning. Gee thanks, coach! Phillips could have gotten hurt, all for Baker carrying on his little grudge with Lowe.

You can't be serious? Anyone thinking Baker should be suspended has no idea what the fuck they are talking about. Are you going to suspend every pitcher who throws a brush back pitch? Those are intentionally thrown to back a batter off the plate. Now if Baker had said, "plunk Lowe with a fastball to the back on the first pitch" and then admitted that...prior events this year would show that he would get suspended. But there is no need for a suspension here.

However, I do agree that both of them need to get over it. Although, it should be interesting to see if the Reds go up against Lowe again in the next series.

Should be game 1. And Baker won't be suspended. Only way is if MLB looked at the prior instances and decided he hit Lowe purposely those times.

Derek Lowe should do to Johnny what Pedro did to Don Zimmer. Johnny is just a coward.
