I also enjoy Lucero. Another rock band that I think has great music, but I don't listen to enough is My Morning Jacket.

There's a bunch, but I think it's good to dive into music individually so you don't get overwhelmed.

Listened to a sampling of all three of your suggestions, sounds like quality stuff. You're right though, I'm definitely just diving into a few artists each night so I don't get overloaded and can take the time to really give each a good listen. I guess I would say that stuff like this, that can get going but is not the "hard rock" that I typically listen to. However keep the suggestions coming about hard rock, rap and country too guys. There's no such thing as too much good music!

Love Muse, and you just reminded me of Young the Giant as well. Will have to check out the others as well.

I find myself really liking this song. Like, I think I could listen to it on repeat all day. Is that bad?

Not really "new", but I've been on a Ghostland Observatory kick.

Dude can belt it out!

Yes. Also, if you DO want to listen to this song all day, just listen to terrestrial radio. My XM expired and I made a trip to Dayton and back and it was on the radio four times.

I thought so also. Then I thought it a bit Peter Gabriel.

Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam
- I never heard of them until Jan. when I saw Davy and met him and Paul Reed Smith. He is incredible. The original band split up a few years ago, but Davy kept the name and has opened for Govt Mule and Chickenfoot. If any of you are in NW Ohio, he is playing Ft. Wayne, Ind. on July 20.

Yeah, I only listen to the radio when my wife is driving and she has control of what we listen to. This is the only song that comes on that I don't want to kill myself.
