So no talking about Lebron James, the premier player on one of the teams competing, is allowed in this thread?

LOL

LOL
It is absolutely allowed, as long it is relevant to what is happening in the game.

So we can't post in here today since there is no game going on?

LeBron sucked in the 4th quarter.

You can talk about whatever regarding the finals. Just leave out people's fandom or watching habits. That's the big thing.

eh hard to say he's a bust when he's been injured constantly. If he had been healthy and just wasn't any good, then yeah bust applies.

I don't know if he sucked, but there were times you almost forget he's out there. It's hard to explain, but that can't happen if you're a 3-time MVP.

lol it's the definition of a bust - he never plays and is always hurt? How was he a good investment? If i buy a porsche, but it always breaks down and costs me more money than it's worth, is it not a bust because I still have a potential sweet car?

gtfo with Oden isn't a bust.

I wouldn't call him a bust either. If he sucked ass and was playing? Bust for sure.

Oden the draft pick was a bust. Getting absolutely no on court production from a #1 pick. Oden the player, not a bust, because he's been injured and hasn't had a chance to prove how good he is when healthy. JMO

Seriously. Here are his career stats
GP GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% RPG APG SPG BPG PPG
82 60 22.1 .577 .000 .666 7.3 .6 .4 1.4 9.4

He's played exactly 1 season and averaged less than 10 points a game. Bust since he's made of glass he's not a bust. So you can only be a bust if you're a durable player? Makes perfect sense...

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I see guys like Jamarcus Russel and Kwame Brown to be busts....players that had the chance to show what they can do. Oden can't help that his body is made of glass.

I'd say a combo of all of the above.

But honestly...who gives a fuck. This is about OKC/Miami.

You can be a bust due to injuries, not just from not performing

Heat missed their chance to steal game one, which I believed to be the pivotal game of the series. It took only one half for OKC to get their feet under them and then it was blowout city. Miami will be hard pressed to win one single game with Wade playing like a vagina. He's my favorite player, but he's stunk of 'gina lately. I don't give a shit about his knee, no excuses. What irritates me is his lack of attention and lazy passing. When he goes to the rim, he looks healthy. I just think he's scared to do it nowadays. LBJ played good, no complaints. I would like to see him check KD in the 4th though. Westbrook tried being alpha male like I hoped for and they still won--- trouble trouble trouble. I continue to be very impressed with OKC... bastards.

For the Heat, it's simply defense. The Thunder are on a hot streak the past several games shooting around 50% each game. Miami won't beat too many teams doing that because of their own offensive execution. They need to hold the Thunder under 45% to have a sense of control of the game. If I'm Miami, I try trapping KD at certain times like the Celtics did Heat-- I'd try it in the 4th quarter and live with somebody else beating me.
