I seriously think if Detroit keeps this up halfway thru the season Francona will be the next manager of Detroit. Leyland has done an awful job, although they have gotten a lot of injuries. Still this team has been a joke

Detroit is struggling because ( with the exception of Berry) the defense is poor. Look at that infield! Miggy at third, Peralta at short and Fielder at first. They have to hit a ton just to make up for the lack of balls they don't get to.
