From Yahoo:
Wednesday's GM meetings will set the Nash trade wheels in motion, a process that could be completed around the NHL Draft or at the Free Agent Frenzy on July 1. The destinations for both Ryan Suter and Zach Parise could influence the deal; but ultimately, it's Nash and his no-trade clause that will determine where he's traded.

So, where will he end up? Will Howson get anything of value for him? Will Howson get anything more than a can of magic beans for him? Will Howson get his face eaten off by a PCP fiend?

Any other offseason moves worth talking about? I guess we can see who they'll get to replace Mason in net.

Still wouldn't trade Nash unless it was for a good goalie.

He will get something good in return. He's not obligated to trade him. He can hold out for a good return for a long time. Some other team will get deperate. Bruins, Rangers, Sharks, and Canucks all had early exits out of the playoffs. They will be buyers. The only thing is it depends where Parise goes. I think the Rangers will go after Parise, so they will be out of the Nash sweepstakes.

Zero chance Parise goes to the Rags.

Damien Cox is a hack. He had an article out stating that Stamkos is on another level that Malkin and Crosby can't reach, bullshit.

Davidson? Guy is a great hockey mind and led the Blues on the right track.

The Rangers were 2 wins away from the Stanley Cup Final -- that's an early playoff exit? That being said, I see the Rangers as serious buyers for Nash.

from what I've heard from people I know who work for them, this is accurate.

IMO rangers don't have the goods to give up for Nash.

Seriously - Boston should give up Anton Khudobin and David Krecji to bring in Nash.

I think they have the goods, but after watching that playoff run, there is no way they part with Chris Kreider (who would be the obvious target for Columbus). Guy is a beast, and I think MSG would explode if the Rangers traded him.

I guess i should rephrase - i don't think they have the goods to give up and still compete like they did this year even with nash. Most likely they'd have to give up a top defenseman or two. If i were CBus i'd rather have Del Zotto and/or Staal. Rebuild from the back end, can't win games when you give up so many goals.

The CBJ defense has been built up quite nice now. D is the least of their worries. They need a goalie (Harding just reupped with Minny) and who is going to score goals with Nash gone? The Nash trade better not center around a defenseman coming back.

It depends. There are few teams who have had a lot of success around defense and goaltending. Then again, the latter is something the CBJ don't have. They could try to build like Nashville...

Bobrovsky headed to Columbus.

...yay? Guess it depends what they traded for him. He's not the #1 I'm hoping for.

3rd pick and roster play is what I'd give up.

Aaron Portzline ‏@AportzlineHave confirmed @DarrenDreger report of #CBJ trade for G Sergei Bobrovsky. Three draft picks going to Flyers, including No. 45 this year.
