Would not want to be a moderator, but would like the ability to neg rep in the NCAA football forum.

I think most people would be cool with the moderators if we could neg rep people.

I wouldn't want to be a moderator and here is why:

When I think of a moderator on this site I typically think of a person who would be put in a position of authority in a real-life example who doesn't belong. This likely being an egotistical person who feels high and mighty about themselves, but in all reality, has no business being in the position whatsoever and is actually looked down upon by others for it. When I picture those who are proud of their "moderator" status on the internet, I picture someone with few friends and a dwindling social life, probably someone who has made most of their friends on the Internet actually and is probably not as popular in the real world as what they believe to be.

Since I'd rather spend my time doing things in real life, as opposed to living in a facade on an internet forum, I guess I wouldn't be worth two fucks as a moderator. Hope this helps.

Do you seriously think being a mod here makes me feel like I'm some sort of authority figure or that it makes more important?? Ha, first I do it out of respect for someone starting the site and putting in their own time and $ to keep it running. Second I ain't paid shit to do it and it's the fucking internet so if you think I take anything here seriously you are wrong! Third I mostly post here from the office to pass time at work! Not a whole lot more to it!

I tend to agree. I remember correctly Justin put names up as a vote for mods. It might have been day two or three of Freehuddle. I also believe you (Fab) didn't win, but you volunteered to do the Wrestling Forum when you had time since your involvement in the sport. I think you've done a great job over there...now I'll get off your jock.

I do know Justin made some former JJ mods moderators here, once they were relieved of their duties over there. Probably since some weren't over moderating assholes like the mods currently over there.

I've never had any issues with any of the mods here. I feel like they want to have fun like the rest of us or maybe I just haven't been an over the top poster on the edge with my posts...Or maybe I'm a closet gay. Yea that's it.

So in other words you don't want to be cry4fail.

I feel like I could be a moderator as I can be fair and objective when enforcing rules (when needed).

I'd rather not moderate, just complain about how shitty they are while not giving any feedback on how to improve anything about the site.

I don't think he and I are anything alike and that's not meant as an insult to him. Based on what I've read of his posts over the years, I'd say we have very little in common and really no similarities so not sure where that "vibe" comes from. But, you're entitled to your opinion.
