From what I've read and heard, the Warriors are moving back to San Francisco by 2017 to play in a brand-new state-of-the-art arena near AT&T Park. A formal announcement is expected to come on Tuesday.

No word on that yet. It'll likely be addressed at the formal announcement on Tuesday, along with other important issues surrounding the move to San Francisco.

They were the San Francisco Warriors from 62-71 so I imagine they will change the name back. Especially if there is any money from the city going towards the new arena. Usually with money comes naming rights. See: Anaheim & Miami
