Because dusty leaves guys in too long. Nobody other then Cueto should be pitching after 6. You have the best bullpen in baseball. Use them!!

Now you left bailey out there and the go ahead run now is at the plate.

Dusty leaves these guys out there too long.

If bailey or any starter not named Cueto gives me 6 good innings, I say thank you and turn it over to the pen.

Bailey may have held on, but glad Dusty isn't letting him hang himself.

Can't believe I just complemented Dusty.

While I would normally be OK with this...the Reds are in the middle of playing 28 games...almost all in a row (with only 1 off day on May 10th). During a stretch like that...you have to try to get your starters to go as deep into a game as possible so you don't burn out that bullpen.

I wouldn't mind seeing Aroldis let one fly at A Rod's head..

That's a fair point.

I know Marshall isn't a natural closer. But he's been a lot like Cordero last year. Almost always makes things interesting.

Marshall's fastball is very average.

The only reason I can come up with as to why Marshall continues to be the closer instead of Chapman is because soon Chapman will be in the rotation and they are trying to get Marshall accustomed to the closer role.

But I really get worried every time he steps on the mound. Today is a perfect example of why...

This has to be it, because Chapman in the 8th is a waste.

The thing that really pisses me off is Dusty NOT allowing Chapman to go 2 innings.

There is no doubt he is able to do it IMO.

He gets ahead with the off speed stuff, but I have no idea why he goes to the fastball after that. Now Arredondo gets jeter.
