Resodded the infield this off season. Not sure if they used a different grass than the outfield or what.

Valdez should've been in for that bunt.

Tonight Frazier giving up his chance to start regularly at 3B. Fails to get the runner at 3rd in with one out, just after he was sacrificed to 3rd to set him up. Then he has a bad throw to first on an easy play that Votto made a great play on to bail him out. Now the lead run is on 2nd with no out and he makes an out and fails to advance him. Even so, a lot of Reds fail in those key offensive situational at bats. Atlanta didn't fail to tie the game on a 3rd and one out situation.

You gotta give these young guys a chance. They're gonna make mistakes, but they need time to develop. The Reds are only 2.5 out, as long as they stay within' striking distance, I'm fine with them playing the younger guys. What are the other options?

I agree, but Dusty will probably put Cairo in there extensively and he'll break down again.

Good outing by Homer. He has no options it's either stick with Cinci or they put him on waivers where I'm sure someone would claim him.

GG Votto's throw 2-3 feet too far toward 3rd base cost Homer a DP from getting thru 7 complete allowing just one run, which good have been saved by a better defensive play also. I just don't like the way Joey never squares up for a throw.

BP picks up Joey's wasted AB by getting the RBI on a hit instead of just needing a productive out.

Now that's a great play by Votto to get the FO.
