This is pretty crazy, but I met Dusty today at Walgreens in Loveland. He was there for a meet and greet from noon to 1. Pretty much nobody was there because it wasn't really advertised. We talked for a few minutes and I told him to get those bats going. He said they are trying everything to get Rolen going, then I said maybe you should mix up his off days, play him on some getaway days.

He's not starting tonight. Hmmmm

Rolen's chronic left shoulder is "barking" tonight and he is being evaluated further and Frazier is at 3B tonight. Must have swung at one too many high pitches! Too bad he didn't have this problem 5 days ago - may have saved Harris' job!

I like Scotty. I'm glad he is the Reds third baseman. But it's time he only plays 3-4 out of 7 days.

Normally it's a free shot to try for the force at 2B on the SB attempt and then you get the out a first, but not with Stubbs running as he beats the relay and Desmond has egg on his face.

I don't get how so many of these guys get called out on strikes. One of the first things I learned when up to bat was swing at anything close when you have 2 strikes. It's crazy watching guys take just about perfect pitches. This isn't really about bruce striking out just a general observation.
