Keeping a dog in one's home is completely different than letting a dog roam the neighborhood. Dog owners of all breeds are responsible to keep their dogs in their homes. There are many things in a home which can kill or injure kids. Most kids killed in a home are killed by things other than dogs. To answer your other question, I did live thrifty and make sacrifices so that I could better my life in the future. I would be willing to help you out if your goal is to turn your life around. I just need the answers to a couple of questions, and we can get started. How long has it been since you have had a job? What type of job did you hold? How close are you to earning your GED?

you are attacked with a knife, you are attacked by a pit bull. knives are inantimate objects. They can not walk over on their own and jump into someone's throat. And gosh there is no substitute that can fulfil all the functions of a knife while removing the threat. There sure are for a pit, all kinds of breeds of dogs with no record of killing people

Gosh there are not many objects in the home that can move through your home, killing as it wishes and even goes across the street and kill the neighbor's baby. gosh there are not many things in the home that can be so easily replaced by something much less dangerous.
