Did you know....

1.) About 40 people (children) per year die by drowning in 5-gallon water pails. A person, during their lifetime, is 16 times more likely to drown in a 5-gallon water pail than to be killed by a Pit Bull.

2.) Approximately 50 children in the US are killed every year by their cribs - 25 time the number of children and adults killed by Pit Bulls.

3.) Approximately 150 are killed every year by falling coconuts. Therefore, you are more than 60 TIMES MOR LIKELY to be killed by a PALM TREE than a Pit Bull.

4.) Each year, 350 people drown in their bathtubs. You are 151 times more likely to be killed by your bathtub than you are by a Pit Bull.

5.) Every year, more than 2,000 children in the U.S. are killed by their parents or guardians either through abuse or neglect. A child is more than 800 times more likely to be killed by their caretaker than by a Pit Bull.

6.) It can be estimated that for every Pit Bull who kills, there are 10.5 MILLION that DON'T!
guess what big guy, there is absolutely no source for any of those claim, nada. But lets do a little checking, how about the cocoanut statistic. it was a claim not the the United States but for the world and it was a lie.

what is a fact is when you bring a pit bulls kill children and they do not need to be in your home.

Your children should beg to be killed by pitbulls - it sounds like heaven compared to living with you.

I am sorry the death of children is a source of amusement to you. But you can still redeem yourself through a change in thought and action. Please consider it.

I grew up with pitbulls as well as several members of my family yet no child, woman, or elderly person was murdered by them. Hell my one uncle bred them which means there were more than the norm.

Awww, c'mon....your family was special. Every other pit bull on the planet is a stone cold killer because our resident idiot, Isadore, says so. ;)

I realize the difficulty you have with the lack of a conscience or a soul. you can still be redeemed in this life.

the key term left out of this little ancedote is yet, not murdered yet. gosh a ruddies people handle rattlesnakes for years, even a whole life time with out being killed, that is no reason to bring them into your home.

Hahahaha my uncle raised pits for over 30 years his children and their children have pits and no matter how much you dance around with your flawed opinion no one has been attacked. We'll keep bringing them into our homes while you keep being ignorant.

As I said before, originally bred as house pets. Somewhere along the line, some pieces of shit thought it was a "good idea" to train them to be killers. It's in the nuture, not the nature.

you will keep bringing them into your home until they follow their natural instinct and kill a someone probably a child. when there are so many types of dogs that do not kill, what your family does is criminal.

no matter how many times you write it, it is not true, the breed was not created to be house pets.

not as bad as I feel for yours, no one ever died from bad sentence structure. Bringing children around pit bulls is criminal neglect.

both are instinctual killers. you can take rattlesnakes for several generation out of nature and they are still killer.
bringing either animal into a household is criminal

many acts have become criminal once people understood the threat. In this south carolina case parents were charged with neglect for having venomous snakes in their home.

hopefully they will be doing the same with parents who bring pit bulls into their homes.
