Duh, it doesn't take Alfred Einstein or Steven Hawk to figure that one out.

Certain breeds are predispositioned towards certain behavior, to deny that is ignorant. But with a domesticated animal way more often than not it's nurture that shapes behavior not nature. This is the first time I've seen this thread so I don't know where that fits in with the dwwcrew/webfire thing apparently going on, but that's my opinion.

This child crawled out of the pit bulls stomach so this picture could be taken. It's obvious that the dog had previously bitten & eaten the child since pit bulls "do that sort of thing...."

Haha. Somewhere you picked up the idea that because people think the breed as a whole is more vicious than others, then every single pit dog must be.

Another example of the sample of 1 I talked about in another thread.

This was my contention, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears for some posters. Good post.

Poor example, as you phrased it. If someone gave that kid the gun, just like someone training a pit bull to be a killer, they would in fact be encouraging the behavior. The kid wouldn't be "predisposed" to be a killer without the encouragement of putting the gun in his hands/giving him the idea.

But as long as we train him properly he should be able to carry. Right?

And my point was about examples. An example of one dog with a kid proves nothing. Just like the picture of the kid does not prove it's a good idea for kids to carry guns.

I'm just glad a boxer didn't do that to her. Would hate to think my dog could do that.

Good thing only pit bulls are bad.

pitt bulls are not good or bad, pitt bulls are dangerous. Of course you could not ask many of their victims because they are dead.

Yeah, because if a pit bull decides that it wants to attack someone it thinks "oh shit, that guy looks like he's healthy & in his 20's...better not attack him....now that 97 year old lady looks like easy prey...." You're such a stupid fuck.

Well shit, since pit's are so smart and can differentiate between the young & old, healthy & non-healthy, I think I need to get one to clean my house, cook my dinner & go to work for me.

You might want to check into that "mental retardation" thing you have going for you.
