This is one of my favorites but the producer has more to do with it than the rapper. Anything Rick Rubin produces is good.

Yes. And as big of a fan of theirs as I am...I'm gonna wait several years before listing them. They have a lot of work to do to get close to that top tier or two IMO.

LOL. I think he was somewhat underrated. Not a GOAT candidate though.

I don't think you were being serious though.

Nice. Great lyrics and flow. Love The Roots.

Used to listen to Mos Def and Ras Kass a lot several years ago but haven't heard much stuff from them in recent years.

Once upon a time Jadakiss was up there with the top lyricists in the game (not all-time). I think he has a new mixtape out but I haven't heard it yet.

I put Jay-Z on the list because he's an obvious choice.

But can anyone else not stand his music? He's had maybe 1 or 2 songs that were "meh."

Huge Hov fan here. Dude has put out a few classic albums. Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint (first one) and The Black Album. Life & Times Vol. 2 is up there too.

Hova has some great music. Blueprint and Reasonable Doubt are awesome. I even liked The Black Albumn quite a bit. Plus, his collaborations are pretty great.

Just not my thang. Doesn't have enough of a "Venga Boys" vibe for this *** to enjoy it.

But seriously, I never got into him that much. Obviously I'm in the minority by his record sales, and the three posts above.

Nas. I'd say Pac or BIG, but they're obviously long gone (unless you are Suge Knight and believe Pac is still alive smh)

LMAO at Eminem and Snoop Dogg lolololololol. Dr. Dre can't even write his own rhymes!

Eminem is the most skilled of all time, without a doubt. No one can do what he can on a mic.

Obviously there are no right or wrong answers as these are opinions based on taste, etc. but this list is puzzling to me. JMHO
