I think their pretty good. I don't think it is too early. You can base good rankings on quality of players returning and how they have started the year. The AP poll is usually laughable. Most of the time it is the same guys picking the same teams year after year because their buddies with the coaches etc etc.

Getting the teams in the right division is a good starting point.
