I've had a name on there for the last six months and have posted maybe every 2 or 3 weeks since I created it...

Today I get a private message from the man himself asking why two names had been posting from my IP address. I told him my brother and I both have a name on the site. He says he doesn't buy it and he has records of us posting within two minutes of each other. I said we have a home computer,laptop,and I have an IPhone so it is possible for us to be in two seperate locations and be posting at the same time. He again says I;m not be truthfull with him and he doesn't buy it and he bans my name.

I broke none of his rules and hadn't gotten into any fights with anyone.

And he continues to wonder why people like us left

Happened to be home on a Friday night and Martins Ferry was playing a game at Morgan, which is close enough to me that I could get the game on the radio. So I essentially did a play-by-play for a couple people from MF who were interested.

The next week, I tried to login and it said I was banned. Sent an email and JJ claims that I'm some dickhead poster from Martins Ferry who had several other names banned already. His claimed that our IPs matched and that it was no coincidence that I hadn't posted for several months and then suddenly posted 100 times on a MF thread. At the time, I didn't know much about IPs, so I asked if I could get all the information he had on it because if he was misidentifying me through the IP, then I have a much larger issue with someone hacking my system or breaking into my house. The next email I got was that he realized my posts were "too good" to be the other fucktard or whatever so he reinstated me.

I see he still fancies himself as a super duper internet sleuth of some sort.

Years ago, someone edited my post to say "fuck you" when I never posted any such thing. I immediately got banned, but raised holy hell about it and threatened to get it investigated; which was an idle threat of course. I have no idea if it was a coincidence but within a week they reinstated everyone who was ever banned. I think they realized someone had the ability to hack accounts or something, I'm not sure...but it the timing sure was odd.
