Is it normal to hate work? I just simply dread going there every day.

I make 100k an hour and pay off 20 K CC bills every month. Also, I have no mortgage, loans, or any other form of debt.

I own a Burger King as well. Oh, and I'm an expert at everything, including prostitution.

Hope this helps.

I don't love going to work(anyone that says they do, are lying), but I don't dread it either. It's a necessary evil, so I try to make the best of it.

I hated my job a year ago, changed positions and really i love what I'm doing now. I think the younger you are the more likely you are to hate work. I know for me i didn't have enough experience to know what i liked to do. Id say change positions and see if you like something else. Also if its the boss or company you don't like you should move on.

Do you hate you job (place of employment) or the actual act of doing work?

My job is okay. If it weren't for the money, I'd probably do something meaningful with my life.

I'm leaning towards the place of employment. I've hated all of my jobs I've had so far, but I just hate this one more.

I feel very under-utilized and the tasks that I'm given are monotonous and uninteresting.

It seems as though they don't trust me with anything so I get passed the stupid shit nobody else wants to do.

The only thing it has going for me is the pay, which is OK.

Should have went to a better school and took a more difficult major.

Hope this helps.

That is a tough one.

I have a similar existence at my place of employment. I try to make the best of it though.

Sometimes I wish I had a novel idea - nothing like Microsoft or Apple, but something I could be passionate about and follow that dream wherever it went. Maybe snuggy level, but maybe not.

If nothing else, I dig your avatar.

I have to LOL at you being passionate about a snuggy.

If it came to the point where I "hated" my current job, I would have to make a move ASAP.

I don't exactly love what I'm doing now, but I can tolerate it, its great experience, and I don't dread coming here everyday.

I used to be a debt collector. Now that is a job I absolutely hated.

I hate going to work. But for me that means a day of flying and 15 days away from my family then a day flying back.

Now, to be fair, I said "snuggy LEVEL"!!! Big difference between that and being passionate about the snuggy.

Which I'm not.

Not that there's anything wrong with that!

But I'm not.

Just saying.

Assuming that everyone hates their job is an exact equivalent as saying that your life is not primarily under your control. People with that attitude are by and large pathetic.

It may make him pessimistic, but pathetic is a bit harsh.

Perhaps so, and if so, I apologize. I'm just not one to react well to being labelled a liar, even if it was non-specific and hyperbole.
