What does that even mean? Has some bite in it? FSU is the most overrated team in the country every single season. WITHOUT FAIL. People like you keep thinking they're this great thing, but they prove you wrong every season. How many times in the last 3 years have I heard "The U is back"? lol give me a break. We all saw how great Clemson is when they got throttled by WVU. A WVU team that had 2 BE losses by the way. NC State? Man handled by Cincinnati.
You listen to all the shit you hear on ESPN and take it as gospel. Watch the games and look at the facts.
Since Va Tech, Miami, and Boston College left the Big East for "greener pastures" the break down looks like this.
BCS bowl games:
-ACC is 1-8
-The Big East is 4-4
-Head to head in BCS bowl games the BE is 2-1
In the 8 years since the split, the Big east's top team has finished ranked above the ACC's top team 6 of the 8 years. (Not just WVU either, Lousville twice and Cincy too)
ACC has had 4 teams finish in the AP top 10
Big east has had 6 (Lville twice, Cincy once, WVU 3 times)
The ACC is getting stronger though right? adding Pitt and Cuse. Well since the split, Cuse has won a TOTAL of 9 BE games (average just over 1 BE win a season)
and Pitt has ZERO outright BE titles since 1991 when it started. They have 2 shared titles (only one since the split)
The Big east is losing WVU who won 3 of our 4 BCS wins over the last 8 years, but adding BSU who has 2 BCS wins of their own. and I'll take any of the other 5 additions to the BE over Syracuse lol.
I could continue to throw figures out there on why the ACC is worse than the BE, but I've got stuff to do. Maybe later.
