Even if he plays a subpar game but hits a game winner...it is a "clutch" moment for him and he'll still be in the clear 'til the Finals begin. There will be "has LeBron turned the corner and become clutch" talk on First Take and other sports talk shows if he makes a GW shot tonight.
If he does become a consistent closer...it will shut a lot of people up in regards to his on-court efforts and his playing mentality (i.e. no longer passive and afraid of the big moment). He'll still have critics but I think that will mostly be because of what Wes mentioned.
