It is time to buy a new mower

Love my old 1979 Simplicity Tractor (16HP) 44" deck it has served me well but it is time for a new mower.

I have 1.5 mowing acreage some trees and flower beds but we do those with a trim mower and weed eater. Slight hill on one side of the house and also at the end of the property there is a up hill area. </SPAN>

Any recommendation for a Zero-Turn-Radius-Mower ?

Just hire a mexican to mow your yard.

That is, of course, after he is finished playing basketball

1.5 acres??? I'd mow that shit with a push mower. Like a boss. On days I had an extra 10 minutes, I'd use a weedwhacker on the whole thing.

I have a John deere with 54" deck I kinda wish I would have just bought the tractor instead of the zero turn. I had a grasshopper before this and I really liked it.

Growing up I used to mow well over an acre with a push mower before mom finally dropped the coin on a riding mower. I probably pushed it for 2 or 3 seasons. A zero-turn sounds like completely overkill for a yard that small but it isn't my money.

If you're going to spend that kind of money, go with a brand the pros use. Scag or Exmark would be my choices.

It was the second one. The guy that bought the first got a DUI on his almost immediately, though.

That must've been the guy who then got a motorized bar stool. Hopefully you heard about that or the joke will be lost.

I was wondering if you were gonna see Leroy last night here in c-bus, but then I saw you posting last night. I backed out at the last minute. He was at Bernies.

Clarification on a few points:

Hire a Mexican : I have to learn Mexican and I haven&#8217;t mastered English yet
I don&#8217;t like the smell of them
I only use them for roofing
Don&#8217;t trust them with scissors

Prefer Cubans Cube a Yard and Ice Cubes for the winter

Buy a Goat: I don&#8217;t like the smell of them
Between dog shit and goat crap I could not walk in my back yard
Goat rips the grass and not a sharp cut
No cup holder

Push Mower: Work smart not hard is the motto
I don&#8217;t like the way I smell after pushing for an hour
No cup holder

Less time I can spend mowing the grass the more time at the pistol range. God knows I will need all the accuracy I can get when the government comes for me.

My post was based on the barstool DUI.

Also, I didn't realize Leroy was in Cbus. I had Reds tickets anyway.
