If you study the the graphs you can see in the period from1965 to 1975 as welfare payments rose inreal value, poverty declined, but astheir real value declined, poverty decline first plateaued then rose.

Why are you so dismissive of nearly half the world that is so much much more needy? It makes you hypocritical and transparent.
