Spending continued to increase faster, and then when you remove the inflated revenues from a juiced economy the true budget shortfall emerges, to the tune of $1.5T deficits.
according to you, thanks for your input.

I'm not super rich. I'm not even in the top 5%. I do have a lot of money though just sitting in my bank account. I might go donate a couple dollars to a local charity to help the poor, would that appease you?

4.1 million over 65 in poverty
16.5 million children living in poverty
some 32 percent of disabled adults live in poverty

12.5 million unemployed
Poverty is not the definition of need. I did not ask for poverty statistics.

If you study the the graphs you can see in the period from1965 to 1975 as welfare payments rose inreal value, poverty declined, but astheir real value declined, poverty decline first plateaued then rose.
We started a retreat from the War on Poverty along time ago

If I vote Democratic, I would not be helping the whole nation. This is the reality. Obama has done nothing for the poor, and the do-nothing D controlled senate has done nothing either.

his healthcare program is to help the poor and his continuing efforts to resist Republican attempts to cut the safety net to shreds.

Where's the safety net once the country is bankrupt? What, do you pray someone else's dead body breaks your fall? But, hey, at least then you'll have your equality you hold so dear.

Unfortunately that law is unconstitutional. You'd think after 4 years of a guy failing you'd look elsewhere.

isadore;1162565 wrote:“hardships”what a dismissive attitude toward the situation of the poor in America. Nowonder you are so ready to cut their funding. Each night millions of American children go to bed hungry. But that is not enough of a hardship foryou. Let them suffer like they do inDarfur, it will motivate them.
Why do you keep dodging the question? 3B+ people living in abject poverty, living on just 5% what those have in American you claim are so poor, poor and suffering. Why are you so dismissive of nearly half the world that is so much much more needy? It makes you hypocritical and transparent. You don't care about the poor, you care about yourself.

No...medicaid is for that. It is to buy votes from the people who choose to use their money to buy cell phones and flat screen TV's rather than healthcare.

Every night Americans go to bed hungry, every day americans are expelled from their homes, every day Americans sleep on the streets, to you those may be

if your heart does not go out to these American veterans, American families, American children, you should emigrate so you can invest your time in nations who draw your sympathy instead of these "Americans"
