Seriously, this place is still a cluster fuck even after the last announcement about the personal attacks. How the fuck do we fix it without banning people left and right? I don't understand what is so damn hard about being civil in the other forums when we allow for being a raging asshole in the basement.

Agree with this too, im getting bored with forums in general. Since I started working out again I have been so much more active in general, not leaving much time to use forums. The only way that works is if basement bans are all super long (like 6-12 months at minimum) or permanent, because they aren't going to learn anything by still being allowed to keep on keeping on, even if it's only in that one forum.
These 2 are a great example of locking them in the basement and throwing away the key. They can continue to be retards to those who care, and the rest of the site is magically tolerable again. There is ZERO reason to EVER lift a basement ban on these 2. Sleeper has to be dealt with. A year in the Basement would be a nice start. He throws every single thread off track. I think the penalties need to be severe. 1st infraction = warning. 2nd infraction gets you 3 months in the Basement, and so on. I'm to the point where the only threads I really follow are the Reds threads, which surprisingly stay very civil.

Do you have an opinion on sleeper, Justin? I'm not saying you deliberately do it, but you seem to bow out of the conversation a lot once he gets brought up. I was just wondering what your honest opinion of him is because we've never really got one, and it seems like it may differ from a lot of us.

Eh, it's what a few of us have been saying for a while. It's annoying that when we do enforce the rules we just take endless shit from a few individuals. And then the same ass-hats that are creating the problem are back out of the basement within a very short period.
