Thank God the Central should blow dick (outside of Detroit). So the Tribe actually has a realistic shot in at least 72 games this year.

Good chance for the Tribe to start divisional play off right.

Humber v Gomez tomorrow and Danks v Masterson on Wednesday.

Go Tribe.

Red Sox and Yanks well on their way to 0-162 seasons.

Ubaldo and Lowe had great outings....and I wasn't expecting them. I do think Jeanmar will surprise some folks.

I like the Royals lineup a lot if they get any pitching at all. It's crazy how far the Twins have fallen. How can you trot Carl Pavano out there as an opening day starter?

I feel pretty safe in saying that it's the worst division in baseball this year though.

I like the royals, and Hosmer especially, a lot also. Buuuuuut, they still won't be blasting teams out of the water all year. IE, Tribe can be competitive.

Asdribble shows his range. Has an error that is recorded as a basehit. Then Tomlin gives up a homer to Perzynski

Defense didnt help. But neither did not putting a guy away at 0-2 and neither did those awful pitches for home runs

google says it's new.
Clubhouse confidential: Right fielder Shin-Soo Choo has come to camp 20 pounds lighter than he was last spring. "I weigh about 205," he said. "At this time last year, I weighed about 225. I feel much better at this weight."
While subtracting 20 pounds from his body, Choo added something as well. On the bottom of his right forearm he has an elaborate tattoo bearing his initials and those of his wife Won Mi Ha and children Alan, Aiden and Abigail.
"I've had the same design on my bats for a couple of years," said Choo.

Donald, 3B
Cabrera, A, SS
Choo, RF
Santana, C, DH
Lopez, Jo, 1B
Duncan, LF
Kipnis, 2B
Cunningham, CF
Marson, C
That might be the single ugliest starting line-up I have ever seen this team field as far as offensive ability.

1 hit through 5 innings.

On any given night this team is a likely candidate to be no-hit.

Cabrera/Choo/Santana are the only legitimate major league hitters on the team right now. Hafner is an overpaid singles hitter, and Kipnis is still a youngster that has alot of learning to do.

In 118 AB's so far we have 18 hits, good for the second worst average in the league.

We have built the team to play small ball, but that requires hitting it to make it work.

Tomlin was far from great tonight, but 4 runs isn't like giving up 9, at some point the offense has to start helping these guys.

This was standard Josh Tomlin tonight. He got bit by the home run bug, which he is prone to do. Although with this lineup the first one is all the Sox might have needed. I'm surprised that they felt the need to play all of these back ups at once instead of sprinkling them in over a few days.

Thank God for Santana. It at least feels like we have a chance when he is up there.
