As a Pens fan, with the possibility of having the Devils and Rangers move on tomorrow, fucking sucks.

Also - Mcquaid and Bergeron being hurt really sucked. Beagle was winning faceoffs all night and we couldn't put our best guy in there. Hated that Thornton was a healthy scratch for caron too. Also, no Horton most of the year really hurt our offense too, so many different line combinations. Wasn't expecting another cup, but did not expect a 1st round exit.

East just had some fucked-up rough match-ups. The second-best regular season team and third-best had to play each other in the first round because they both were in the same division as the best, so they got the 4 and 5 seeds. And Boston had to play one of the most talented teams in the first round because that team underachieved all year long and barely even got into the playoffs.

I agree - the seedings don't mean much, especially if you're clicking at the right time. Boston struggled a bit the second half without Horton and were in the 2 spot because their division and the SE division suck. I wasn't expecting a cup but didn't think they'd lose 3 of 4 at home to washington.
