Why do you leave injury prone Hafner on base....why not pinch run for him to get more speed on the bases?

Nice play by the 3rd baseman.

Let's see if our Huge offseason signing can do anything.

What is it with Cleveland teams and an aversion to offensive talent?

The Tribe thinks you can win without run producers.

The Browns think you can win without being able to score.

Why are we punished like this?

I went to the game today and it was absurd the amount of Jays fans there. Nearly 3/4 of the 1st base line were Jays fans.

yea it was awful especially since i was behind their dugout, pretty obnoxious fan base for how much theyve accomplished...

I went to a game in Toronto last year when I was up there and thought their fan base was pretty good. Also they hung 16 on the Yankees that night, which was awesome

Was at the game 3rd baseline and and we had a great time trash talking some Toronto fans. Almost escalated a little too far though lol.

I said the same thing last year after losing to them. Beating us is the only highlight of their season after they get shit on by the Rays, Yankees, and Sox all year.

On the radio broadcast today, they said there were more Jay's fans at today's game than they typically have at a home game.

Tough luck again yesterday. Was golfing so I only caught extras. Sounds like Ubaldo pitched well. Didn't make it through the thread yet but I am predicting Lowe puts the Tribe in the Win column today.

Go Tribe.

Tough luck? No. We can't hit our way out of a paper bag, and other the Druby and maybe Kipnis, I can't see anyone hitting over .300 this season. Our starting pitching is pretty darn good, but our offense is horrendous. I've got a feeling our W's will consist mostly of 1-0, 2-1 ballgames.

And those runs will likely come from solo HR's. :(

^^^seems like the only way we score is via the long ball.

Need to win today...it would suck to get swept at home by a very average team. I am glad to see the top of our rotation pitching well, and a shame to waste those good performances.

When you know what your team's weakness is, and you do nothing about it in the off season, you have no one to blame but yourself. That's where good ownership comes in. It probably wouldn't have taken more than just a few extra million to land the hitter we needed. You trade top pitching prospects to acquire a top of the rotation pitcher, but won't go get the hitter you need. SMH.

Ubaldo pitched well. News from the Indians camp is that they are no longer going to try to 'correct' his mechanics and are just going to accept the way he pitches. Good.

The classy Tribe fans have chosen to spend the day with their families while the godless heathen Tiger fans have packed Comerica.

who would you rather have: sizemore and carmona for 12 million or cuddyer for 10.5? seems like an easy choice to me but apparently not to the indians
