Word is Mississippi State forward Arnett Moultrie has graduated from MSU. He is projected a top 10 pick in next year's draft. However, word is he wants to stay in college and enroll at a serious contender next season.

He transferred from UTEP after his Sophomore year in 2009-10, and finished 2nd in SEC POY this year.

He would be as big of a "get" as any recruit.

Although not a transfer, Jorge Brian Diaz will not be returning to Nebraska next season.

Western Kentucky's Derrick Gordon transferring.

He says he wants to play closer to home. He's from New Jersey. He was teammates with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist at St. Patrick's. Very good player.

12 PPG, 7 RPG, 2 APG as a PG.

Will be a major impact transfer wherever he goes. Big loss for WKU.

Big East or ACC a most likely destination. St. John's or Rutgers maybe. Maybe somewhere in the ACC like Virginia Tech or Boston College.

Trey Ziegler just committed to Pitt. I am speechless. Duke felt this was a sure thing I am sure.

Duke fans are left speechless and hurt when MAC players don't transfer to their program?

Yep. It's. Sad to see. Especially when that 6'5" wing may well have been one of the best if not the best player on the team. Says a lot about the lack in talent on the roster.

Zeigler was a 4 or 5 star recruit that only went to the MAC because his dad was the coach at CMU. Now that his dad is out as coach, he obviously wants nothing to do with a MAC level team

Moreso just harping on the point that he said he was speechless and hurt lol

I know who ziegler is...duke fans shouldn't feel hurt no matter who doesn't commit to their school

Rodney Hood leaving Mississippi State.

Automatically will become the #1 transfer of the year. Some draft boards have him as a top 10 pick THIS year, but it sounds like he's going to stay in school and go elsewhere.

16th overall player from the 2011 class was down to Mississippi State, Florida State, Alabama and Louisville.

Mississippi State is falling apart. Hood needs to hit the weight room pretty badly, but he's a smooth player. Will he be eligible to play this year?

No. Already people on different Kentucky forums saying Western Kentucky is a serious contender for him. I could see it being a decent fit, but you would have to figure Louisville and somewhere close to home (Southern Miss maybe?) as well.

Anthony Hickey of LSU is another guy likely to leave the SEC. I'd like to see UK make a run at him, but he was soured a bit by Calipari not recruiting him (same with Louisville), so we'll see.

Why should Duke fans not feel bad that a player spurns them?

Do you really feel Duke has the pick of prospects anymore? This isn't 1999. They haven't landed a top recruiting class in 13 years. (I believe 1999 with Williams, Dunleavy, Boozer was their last top ranked class)

Much better fit at OSU, IMO. He actually reminds me a lot of a more athletic, less-proficient scoring Deshaun Thomas.

Lefty too.

Not surprised at all.

He has said, or at least I've read, that he wants to go somewhere where bigs are focused on. That will not happen in Durham.

Oriakhi to UK seems to be pretty strong. With Mason Plumlee coming back, it makes sense.

I'd say the same about UK if they get Nerlens Noel, but Noel and Oriakhi played at the same HS and have discussed playing together already. I don't see it, but we'll see.

BTW, the list of transfers this year is crazy...

I have read something about the SEC not accepting 1 year transfers(graduates with eligibility, seniors), so will AO need to appeal this?

Goodman(CBS) says 300+ are transferring. Thats absurd.

Yeah AO would have to apply for an academic waiver, from what I have read.
