I'd buy a Triple A team and move it to where I live.

Best idea so far.

Although, not sure how much that would cost...

$500 million? I'll just withdraw it from my bank account, no need to play the lotto like the rest of you poor people.

Before anyone says anything, yes, you are almost certainly throwing away money when you spend the cost of entry as well.
so instead of buying 1 or 2 tickets every week or so, buy a few hundred one time a year?

I found out, there are 9 ways to win.

The drawings are every Tuesday and Friday. The numbers are revealed at 11pm.

Anyone who says the lottery is useless is an uptight fool. Who doesn't have a dollar of spare income to have some fun with? Just the trick my brain plays and the resulting smile that happens from imagining what I'd do (and who I'd do, for that matter) is well worth $1.

I'd rather spend a $1 on this lottery than a $1 at McDonald's.

That's how I am. I don't pay attention to the lotto until it's something like this, then I'll throw $5 at it.

The thing I hate about the jackpot getting this high is having to explain to my wife EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS that your odds of winning are not decreased because there are more people playing. The only odds that change are that you have a better chance of having to split the jackpot with someone. But it seems like she forgets this between high jackpots and feels the need to argue the fact with me whenever the news starts talking about a large jackpot.

I would take the lump sum.

I would give a mil to each of our close family. Pay off my bills. Set up a trust fund for my son. Buy a new expiditing truck to continue my twice a week delivery cause I like doing it.

Drinking beer is stupid too. I could just spin in circles for 15 minutes, get dizzy and start yelling "I love you man". I bought $10 in tickets tonight and got into a work pool for an additional $2. That's right $12 in and I'm not missing the money. Guess I'm just stoopid.

When I go to a bar I have a few beers, 45 minutes later I piss my investment down the drain. What's the difference? Someone has to win and it might be someone on here.

1. Quit my job.
2. Buy a house on the beach.
3. Buy a house at a good ski resort
4. Trust fund for the kids
5. Hire my wife to shut up when I bring the dancers home from the club

Several things.

The lottery is stupid to play. Don't try to justify your dumb actions.

I do appreciate the fun of imagining what I would do with that kind of money though but to me it isn't worth enough to play often at all. I never buy a ticket unless it's over $300 million and even then I usually forget to pick one up.

how the hell did no one win this with the amount of people buying tickets. sounds like the auto lotto is not so auto? seems like every number combination should be used? this girl i know got 4 out of 5 numbers on tuesday and only got 150 bucks. seems like that should also be more.

Liberal likes to tell people how to spend their money &#8230; stupid and justifying </SPAN>
It only stupid if it not your money (entitlement social programs money) and unjustified if it is (government funded welfare and unemployment money). </SPAN>

You work and earn it then it is your money to do whatever you want and no justification is needed. </SPAN>

You just said the lottery is stupid and dumb. Than admitted you play when over $300m, which it is now. So....?

Dude fuck you.

I didn't say people were stupid if they played the lottery nor did I say people weren't free to do what they want with their money or that they have to explain to me what they spend.

Playing the lottery is unarguably stupid as it is essentially just throwing money down the drain. Like some have said though there is an amount of enjoyment that comes from envisioning your winnings and such that is hard to replicate without actually having a ticket. Which is why I only play when it's gigantic and only buy one ticket when I do. Also to be clear, I haven't bought a ticket this year even though it's been over $300 million because well frankly I've had other shit to do and think about. If I remember when I'm at the gas station next and have cash on me I'll probably get one ticket.
