From the article you posted.
"Oh how little we have learned," David Shane wrote on PolicyMic.com. "The media has rushed to judgment yet again. Now, it's quite possible that Zimmerman is guilty of everything his worst foes accuse him of. There is plenty about this case that troubles me. But that's exactly the point: I don't know. Neither does anyone else, and both the scope and tone of the media coverage ought to reflect that fact."
Funny you would link an article about not jumping to conclusions and then jump to conclusions.

Because, much like how Bush hated black people, Obama obviously hates hispanics. Or "white hispanics". One or the other. Maybe both.

BHO made it about the upcoming election when he said "If Ihad a son, he would look like Trayvon"

I don't get your point.

I've been following this story from the start. Racism isn't the issue for me, but it seems to be what the media and our local blowhards are focusing on now. The issue is a kid was shot, the shooter is free, and we still have infinite questions that need to be answered and its what.....6 weeks later? Awesome justice system we have.

The problem with arresting Zimmerman is that the Hispanic community will claim he is being mistreated because of his race.

And the beat goes on...

does it matter? i see nothing in the article that matters as to the events of that night. he could have been suspended 50 times and i dont see a big difference. he should have never had any contact w zimmerman but for zimmermans actions. you do not need a gun for to do nhwatch.

It also sheds some light on how the media tries to portray things also as by the pics they show on TV.

Trayvon could be worse then Hitler and Zimmerman could be the Pope.

The situation wouldn't have happened. AT ALL, if it weren't for Zimmerman following him, getting out of his car, etc. He called police. That's what he was supposed to do. He escalated the situation into something bigger. And then to use 'self defense'.

Why don't I break into your house tonight and when you rouse from your sleep from the noise of the broken window you reach for a baseball bat. I see that and shoot you out of self-defense,... because I felt my life was being threatened. ... Does that make any more sense than what Zimmerman did?

No. He called police because, in his eyes, he saw something suspicious. That's all he needed to do. But, that wasn't enough for Suburban Commando.

As for the race issue being brought up... I think blacks are upset about the racism--or potential racism--in this situation more than the kid dying. The issue is: WHY did Zimmerman think he looked like he was 'up to no good'? What was it he was doing that that made Zimmerman make notice? Or was it simply because it was a black male? If that was the only reason, that's racism. Pure and simple.

The problem with this is because Trayvon was killed, we will never get his side of the story. So, the benefit of the doubt should side with the party unable to defend themselves in court.

And the last issue is: Was there anything that Trayvon did that night that was justification enough for him die because of it? Be the 'stand your ground' laws legal or not, was his 'crime' worth death? If there was one in the first place?

Capital punishment has slowly been outlawed in this country because we, as a society, feel putting felons to death for their crimes should be, mostly if at all, for the most heinous and indefensibly guilty among us. Yet, Florida passes a law that lets a citizen, without due process, foresight, intelligence, compassion, or understanding become judge, jury, and executioner.

There's a problem in this country. And it's not the side saying "We are Trayvon".

following someone while talking on a phone is being aggressive and instigating? every joe schmoe on the street could claim the guy walking behind him was following him and he turned and attacked in self defense. not to mention that it is now believed when martin attacked him he wasnt following him.

What's this about Spike Lee tweeting what he thought was Zimmerman's address? Apparently it wasn't his address...just some lady's house...but still...how irresponsible....and potentially criminal if someone had busted down that lady's door and killed her, thinking it was some family member of Zimmerman.

Stick to being a caricature at Knick game, Mars.

I think the media is slowly trying to walk this back, realizing that it doesn't fit the narrative of what makes a juicy, politically-charged story involving race, but too little too late, IMO.

Zimmerman has a history of aggressively following people he thinks are breaking the law. To the point it has been documented by police that they were "scared they were going to be attacked"
In one case, he chased a reckless driver while calling 911 — the driver later told police he was terrified that Zimmerman was going to attack him

The events of that night will never be known because the media and the family of the kid will spin it for their benefit. The kid being killed is wrong and Zimmerman should be punished by the justice system, but the family wants to make it out like the kid was some little innocent choir boy and it is starting to look like he was just some young thug, they are killed everyday in america and nobody says shit when it is another black guy doing the shooting. The piece of shit we have as a president doesn't give a rats ass about this kid or any other kid that is killed everyday in this country, but he wants to try and insert himself in this incident just like he did with the wall street protesters for election purposes only. I guess it is time for the king to rally his servants. There was a shooting in Steubenville the other day, a black kid was gunned down on the street downtown and he died today, I wonder if the media or the White house will be holding a press conference to discuss this crime, no they will not because the shooters were also black. See how that works, they don't really care about any kid being killed, unless it is a non black killing a black.

So the neighborhood watch guy follows a kid, calls 911 and follows him. Why didn't the kid just tell the guy what he was doing? And why does the media portray the kid as an angel. The thing that makes me mad in this case is there definitely is 2 sides to it, yet because he's black, there is a nationwide outrage, rally's etc. It is absurd. Wait until all the details come out, then judge it. I now hope that the kid did attack Zimmerman, and he gets no punishment for it. Can't wait to see the riots that ensue.

This is fake. A 10 second google search could have confirmed so, instead you chose to take the word of whatever source you got it from. My guess: a far right and/or racist blog or forum.

Are people really that desperate to frame this issue that they'll claim a picture of a random black kid posing with his pants sagging and middle fingers up is Martin? How transparent can you get?

So you'll probably be hiding won't you? There won't be any riots no matter how many clowns hope for them.

1. I was not suspended from school for having stolen jewelry and screwdrivers in my bag.
2. I never bragged about taking a swing at the bus driver.
3. I didn't have racist tattoos.

Wow, talk about ignorant. I sense you are from the Ohio Valley.

Was the kid in Steubenville shot by a guy on neighborhood watch? Did the shooter get taken into custody? The situations are not the same.

Also regarding the kids prior incidents in school and "racist" tattoos. Got a link? Or just more bullshit sources passing garbage off as facts?

No, I'll be working at a job, something these people rallying apparently don't have. Also, calling a mexican guy a cracker is pretty outrageous (not at you, from the picture earlier in the thread). Anyway, regardless of if there is a riot or not, I can still hope for one. Show how idiotic these people are. Let the whole story come out, then figure out what to do. The clowns are the people clamoring for the guys bounty and posting hoodie pictures all over the damn internet.
