Tim stay in Denver... move to TE. Manning will make you an All Pro.

In the immortal words of Lee Corso: "Not so fast my friend."

Looks like there is a $5 million dollar payment in Tebow's contract that is potentially holding up the deal and could nullify the trade.

Filed to ESPN: Denver and Jets have encountered hangup in language in Tim Tebow's contract that could nullify trade. If the Tebow trade to Jets falls apart, St. Louis could wind up getting back into play. Sides sorting through details.

Also, sources saying Denver is all like "tough shit, Jets. You agreed to the deal so pay the fuck up." I don't blame them. Apparently Tannenbaum did not even read Tebow's contract beforehand. What an asshole.

Thought Tannenbaum was an evil genius? Him and Rex suck it just took everyone 2 years to realize it.

What kind of message are the Jets trying to send with this anyway?

They give Sanchez that extension to try and solidify him as the guy considering he was on shaky ground, and then you go out and bring in a back-up that is sure to ignite a QB controversy and cause drama.

What exactly is the plan right now?

Tannenbaum is great with the salary cap and has drafted two HOF players (Revis and Mangold) but this really sullies him for me. What a fucking buffoon.

I still love Rex.

Exactly. Every time Dirty Sanchez throws an INT all the New Yorkers will be clammoring for Tebow. As the season progresses and if the Jets are any worse than a 1 or 2 loss team it will get down right toxic.

Two AFC title games in his first two seasons. That's pretty good to me.

28-20 and no Super Bowls makes him an average coach, at best.

An average coach would be 24-24. Learn to math.

How many coaches have won a SB? Less than 40. How many coaches have there been since the SB era started? A fuckton. You don't have to win a SB to be an above average coach, especially not in your first three seasons.

He is 4 games better than average then, with no SB's. You certainly have your right to like him. I'm just sayin his winning % is lower than Marty Schottenheimer's and both have no SB's. Rex will NOT win any SB's with the NYJ, or anyone else.

Here is my thing with Sexy Rexy. I fear he is one of those rah rah guys that can motivate the hell out of teams, but not a great Xs and Os coach...no biggie. But he seems like he might end up being one of those guys where the rah rah stuff will grow old and he will lose their attention. Just a hunch.
