Ah, I don't mind if people bring up inferior teams on the Ohio-UNC thread.

That's why I asked if he was referring to Sully or not, 'cause I thought the same thing...I guess some people are never satisifed :(

Sully is good but he definitely could be better. He needs to step out and hit the jumper more to make the defense spread out and give them one more thing to worry about. He also needs to play smart sometimes he makes a lot of dumb fouls that puts him in foul trouble. But to say he has been a disappointment is just stupid.

Number one, I made that up. I don't have a dog. But if I did, his name would be J.J. Redick. I did have a cow once named "Chris Duhon." He won first place in his class at the county fair. (That is actually true.) Hope that is of help.

Edit: Wrong Duke legend. It was Duhon.

Probably hasn't been made official, nor will it be as NC doesn't want anyone to know if/when Marshall will play, etc--but there is NO WAY Marshall will play tonite --or the rest of the tourney if NC advances. A scaphoid/navicular fracture is not a run of the mill hand or wrist fracture. Even with surgery takes significantly longer to heal than 98% of the fractures out there, and if doesn't heal properly could be career threatening. there is NO WAY they risk his NBA career by letting him play any time soon. How much that effects their overall chances we'll see--my guess is significantly. I'm an OSU fan, but would love to see the Bobcats with the huge upset.

What exactly did he do? Tear his SL?

Not a chance in hell he plays, that is basically the ACL of your wrist. I ruptured mine last year and it is no joke. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

I don't see OU winning, but I will be pulling for them. Can you imagine Athens if they end up getting the W? Look out!

Lots of good omens, as far as I'm concerned.

1. My "MichiGONE" t-shirt commemorating the first-round win arrived in the mail today.

2. UNC will have a Mormon starting at point guard.

3. Mormons are impotent little bitches.

4. OU is fourth in the country in steals per game.

BTW, North Carolina by 35. It would have been almost impossible for the Bobcats to prepare for the motivational onslaught that the Tar Heels Heels are going to devour them with tonight. After the way UNC was declared dead by virtually everyone this past week, there is going to be a clan of really pissed off McDonalds All-Americans playing like they were hell sent.

35 may be too high a number, but I'd bet the final spread will be no fewer than 25.

I don't know much about it, so I'm just passing along the info that I have been reading. The fracture to the scaphoid was supposedly in the "best possible location". The injury was stabilized with a screw and supposedly the medical staff thinks it's possible that Marshall could play at some point. That said, if there is ANY chance that it could jeopardize his future, Roy Williams absolutely will NOT let him play. I know Roy wants a title, but he never puts his or the program's accomplishments ahead of his players' well-being. I think there is a 0% chance that Marshall plays tonight, and that percentage probably doesn't increase for the next round IF Carolina advances.

I like that type of thinking. I really do, rec. However, even though you might be partially serious, I must counteract your attempt to doom the Tar Heels tonight. This will be a close game, and Carolina will be fortunate to survive and advance.
