OU has been getting by on the great equalizer and that is the 3. If they can continue to shoot well from outside, they can absolutely upset a Marshall-less UNC team.

Says the guy who just posted a GIF of that Gibbs douche winking after swiping at Henson's wrist.

Here's the video of Echenique taking a cheap shot at Zeller's upper chest/throat area. Should have been a Flagrant 2 and ejection...wasn't called at all.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDWkL5lh0Oc

Listen to the whistle here, and then note the swipe(s) at Henson's wrist.

Haven't found a good video of the foul that caused Marshall's injury, but the Creighton player doesn't make a play on the ball at all. He shoves Marshall while he's in the air, and doesn't even attempt to block the shot.

I'm not gonna sit here and whine about officiating because it's time to focus on OU. I'm sure teams will continue to give hard fouls to Henson and possibly Marshall, but there's a difference between giving hard fouls within the rules of the game and just trying to hurt someone. The offcials didn't make Creighton pay for playing against the rules and the end result is that Carolina could be without their most important player.

Lol come on man, stop being such a whiny bitch. Henson is gonna play with a messed up wrist, the opposition would be stupid not to swipe at it within the rules of the game. Creighton is a physical team, they're not dirty.

Haha. I'm being a whiny bitch? There are plenty of non-Carolina fans that thought it was dirty. Hell, Doug Gottlieb, who hates Carolina, even called it dirty. Jay Bilas did as well.

Creighton is not known as a physical team. Just because you're a Kansas/OU fan doesn't mean you have to be blind too.

Too bad South Florida didn't knock DJ Cooper out for the rest of the tournament. My guess is there would be a lot of "whiny bitches" from Athens posting if that had happened.

Didn't mean to say you were a whiny bitch. You're a good poster. I just meant you're bitching..and it's coming off as whiny bitching.

You can't honestly expect a team not to go after an injured wrist? And just because they aren't a physical team doesn't mean they weren't playing physical. That's how you beat UNC. It has nothing to do with me being a Kansas/OU fan, I would have said the same thing if you were a fan of any other team in that circumstance.

If USF knocked DJ Cooper out I wouldn't say "they did it on purpose!"

Yeah, I agree w/ this. You knew he was trying to instigate Henson, and it worked, so he winked at the bench (who he probably in the huddle before that, that he was going to try and get him a T"

Winking to say "hey guys I really did slap at his wrist!" just doesn't happen lol

I'd think under the circumstances, if he did tell someone in the huddle before hand, it is more likely he was trying to slap at the wrist to hurt him/make him leave the game rather than try to get under his skin and get him a T.

Probably more likely that there was a bounty out on Henson and whoever took him out got a hand job from the coach.

Look, I can't sit here and judge intent. However, Echenique's foul speaks for itself. It was bullshit.

Gibbs may have been intentionally swiping at the wrist or he may have just been trying to piss Henson off. Whatever the case may be, he's a douche. Do what it takes to win, though, I guess.

The foul on Marshall is unfortunate. I don't know that the guy was trying to hurt him, but he damn sure wasn't going for the ball. I'm pissed because my PG had surgery on his wrist today because of it. That's about all I can say there.

Can't change any of it now. Creighton's ass is sitting at home and Carolina has to focus on the Bobcats. Period.

wait what? you are confusing me. Just because you live in Ohio, you cant root for UNC. But if you live in Ohio you cant root for OSU either unless you have a connection with them? Who the hell can you root for if you dont have a connection to any university?

02 lived near Chapel Hill until 6th grade. His uncle was dean of admissions.

I like Duke and Ohio State....my connection is that I like them both. Hope this helps.

Lol you know people do move? I moved to Ohio when I was 10 and I don't like any Ohio teams(well besides some minor league ones). Also the 2nd part of your post is just dumb. You're basically saying you can't root for a school unless you or a family member went there.

92 that is pretty awesome that he has a real connection to UNC... it almost as good as the time sleeper was calling Swamisez a bandwagon Duke fan saying he probably never went to Duke and some other stuff when Swami was enrolled in grad school there.

My labrador, Shane Battier, is not the father of Coach K's puppy. I am a Duke fanatic. Hope that helps.

As for the game, Roy has kept things under very tight wraps (which is to be expected, as to keep Ohio guessing and having to plan for all angles of the game attack). I think that Kendall will play at some point this weekend, probably against Kansas. I'd wager both of my legs on it. Not saying this is as in I think something negative is going on here, because, unlike the complete fools who think Coach K would endanger a player or ruin their NBA potential to win, I don't believe that Roy Williams would either. Just an inkling that the situation isn't as blackly bleak as it might have originally been demonstrated.

I heard that, but it really doesn't change my point of view. We shall see.

I hope for the kid that he does and is healthy. Sucks for Marshall. I know it did for Kyrie.

Bobcats are gonna give them a fight, no doubt about that. But UNC is just too powerful for Ohio. I say they will keep them game within striking distance all the way until the end. It could come down to who has the ball last, or who play best defensively. But UNC will win.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if he plays against the Bobcats. If the Heels make it to Sunday, I think there's an outside chance that Kendall may play some, but even that is probably a stretch. If Carolina somehow does survive this weekend, I think Kendall definitely plays in New Orleans, and would probably be fairly effective.

If Carolina wins against OU, regardless of who wins between State and KU, Kendall will play.

There is no way, shape or form the Heels beat KU or State without him.

I think Stillman has potential(he is leaving for 2 years btw), but he is not ready to lead this team. I do think that PJ will run some point though.
