LOL. Play in for a 12 seed. Now that's just plain dumb.

I think the committee did a good job this year. The talent seem to be spread and leveled out. Unlike last year when you had teams like Ohio State, North Carolina, and Kentucky all in the same bracket smh.

No Miami, no Drexel. But Iona?

Iona over Drexel. Good point Seth D. That's a farce.

Iona had 5 top-100 wins, Drexel had 3 (with 1 top-50). Both had a handful of bad losses. Don't think that's a huge issue.

It just shows the committee doesn't watch the games.Mulva;1112803 wrote:Iona had 5 top-100 wins, Drexel had 3 (with 1 top-50). Both had a handful of bad losses. Don't think that's a huge issue.
I've seen both many times, Drexel is BETTER and in a better league. Just IMO.

Drexel was awful the first month of the season. Awful. And unfortunately for them the entire season counts.

I do understand how it works. Just don't agree with the NCAA's structure/formula for determining who plays these play in games and what seeds gets them. IMO, eight worse teams play for the right to play the #1 seeds. Period. Simple. I think the NCCA could have come up with eight teams to play for the 16 seeds.Mulva;1112789 wrote:I don't think you have any idea how it works.

This just slowly weeds out the small league. With this argument, why even include them into the Tournament? That's why. Reward a small league winner over a crappy team like South Florida...GoJPM!;1112810 wrote:I do understand how it works. A 3 seed for Georgetown seems a little high to me. Not a huge deal just didn't think they would be that high

Ohio State was the 7 overall, according to committee chair.
