To me marijuana will always have that negative stigma to it so even making it legal, or acceptable, wouldnt change my opinion. It is like my opinions on **** in general and gay marriage. Doesnt matter that society is becoming more accepting of queers....ya wont ever find me believing it is acceptable, and about gay marriage...even if my state legalizes it I wont automatically change my stance on it.

Many people who have been raised and lived in small, rural communities have a very conservative stance on many things. It is just how I am. Call it small minded if you want. The marijuana thing probably comes from it being illegal my whole life. I tend to try and steer away from things that can get one caught up. If it had been legal my whole life like alcohol, maybe my opinion on it would change some. I dont think it would much because I just dont like to smoke anything.

About the other part....I just feel that homosexual behavior is about as immoral as one can get. I wouldnt call myself the moral's police by any means, but that is a line that I just dont think I will ever change my thinking on.

It is kinda like the old people now that are still just flat our racist as can be. They grew up their whole lives in that type of environment, and you wont change their minds. The subsequent generations in their families became more understanding and such. Same can be said about homosexuals. I have my stance on it, and that wont change.
