Does it have Online Franchise/Dynasty? I'm thinking of picking it up but this is a major selling point because a buddy and I want to start a league and this will make or break it.

It's got some nice online modes, including a vamped up "Team-up" mode, but I do believe it's missing online dynasty...

It's still the greatest bball game EVER though. The level of detail in this game is unmatched by any other sports game.

Just got it 4 christmas and damn is it pretty hard...Its the 1st NBA game ive played since live 03 and theres so much different shit you can do. Just played 1 game so far and was the Cavs against the Nets. I lost 45-40..Harris was impossible to stop and everyone but Lebron shot terrrrrrible.

You definitely have to learn how to use the trick stick.

Play it like a real bball game and work the ball around. It'll get easier..

Yeah, the more you work the ball from my experience to get open shots the better you are.... I started doing this against the guy I played with who owned the game and I was damn near unstoppable...

I asked for it for Christmas but don't know if I'll get it or not. Wish it had online dynasty mode

Roommate is supposed to be getting it. Hopefully he does. I'm getting tired of playing 2k9

When it first came out I bought it for the Xbox. It WAS a buggy POS, but it's better now.

I find it a lot harder than 2k9.

Yea the best part about the game is that it is actually challenging, once you get better up the difficulty and go into Boston haha

Best part about this game = you can't just crossover and dunk on someone EVERY play.. NBA Live was awful about that

yeah they actually have help defense and the computer rotates.... for the most part...

that part seems to fail when you need a stop and you're down 4 or 6 in the last 2 minutes

Yea it becomes next to impossible to stop the other team late. There have been so many times when I forced them into a bad shot, only to have their PG grab the offensive rebound

or to have them make some rediculous shot as the clock is going down... that part sucks.... and it always happens when you're on the road... for some reason Peja or Chris Paul nails one when I'm playing New Orleans, you can count on it

Simulating some of the regular season in my player mode would be great too.. who in their right mind has the time to play through all those games.. I got picked up by Orlando with about 50 games left, played them all and ended up beating Portland in the Finals. I am now so burnt out on that mode that I don't want to touch it.

Yeah I'll probably end up playing through it all.... kind of rough though playing the whole thing though... esepcially cuz you dont' wana score like 80 ppg and not have anybody else touch the ball

I made a mistake with my player mode..

I got the game at midnight and started on my player first thing, only to realize you are MUCH better off to change the length of the quarters. You can't do this once you start the game mode, so now I'm screwed. I still have good stats, but they could be better.

Ohh yeaa fresh off a 46-44 win over the Pacers on a last second shot by King James..Of course Lebron had 28 of my 46 but thats just how he rolls. 1-0 in my season with the Hawks coming up next...Not feelin to confident lol.

Yes you can.

While in the my player mode, go to options then presentation.. Then scroll all the way down until you see quarter length..

I started mine at release and just found out about this a couple nights ago.

Ahhh cool. I'm still debating this game but the lack of Online dynasty is really killing it's chances because I really want to play with my one buddy online.
